“In general, the enemy launched two missiles and 68 air strikes, carried out 37 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the attack of Russian terrorists, unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population. . Multi-storey and private houses were destroyed and damaged, as well as other infrastructure facilities,” the General Staff said in a statement.
In the direction of Kupyansk, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of settlements of Tabaevka, Kharkov region, and Stelmakhovka, Luhansk region, where the enemy tried to expel units from their positions.
In the direction of Liman, our soldiers repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Terny and Yampolevka settlements, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break the defenses of our troops.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the areas east of Chasovoy Yar, Bogdanovka and Kleshchievka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, tried to improve the tactical its position.
In the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye settlements, Donetsk region.
In the direction of Novopavlovsk, the Defense Forces continued to contain the enemy in the Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with aviation support, tried 19 times to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the direction of Orekhovsky, the enemy, with aviation support, attacked the positions of our defenders five times in the areas of Staromayorsky, Donetsk region, west of Verbovoy and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of Kherson, the enemy does not abandon his intention to dislodge our units from the bridges on the left bank of the Dnieper. During the day, the enemy made two unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our defenders.
During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out strikes on seven areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. Also, an X-31 missile was destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces and means. Units of the missile forces inflicted a defeat on an area where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Let’s recall that from February 4, 2022 to March 13, 2024, the total combat losses of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine amounted to approximately 426,870 people.
Two weeks later, the media learned the names of more than 1,500 Russians killed in Ukraine. This is one of the highest numbers since the start of Russia’s all-out war against Ukraine.
