Bullying at Chernivtsi Lyceum: how a policewoman was punished for bullying

An audio recording of an “educational” conversation between a policewoman and children appeared on social networks, where she can be heard humiliating the students of the lyceum.

In Chernivtsi, a policewoman accused by parents of Integral Lyceum students of bullying children received a warning. The National Police of the Chernivtsi region reported this on Tuesday, March 12.

They indicated that a disciplinary sanction was applied to the police due to incomplete official compliance.

“Additional police service cannot be attributed to children,” said the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Chernivtsi region, Viktor Nechitailo.

As UP writes. In fact, their journalists contacted the Office of the Educational Ombudsman to explain the situation. They noted that they reviewed the audio recording that “contains possible signs of police and director bullying of children.”

“Unfortunately, during this incident, the teaching staff did not stop the bullying of the children. The students are not protected from it, which is unacceptable. This violates Article 53 of the Law of Ukraine “On Education,” said representatives of the educational ombudsman.

It is indicated that representatives of the Education Ombudsman Service sent a letter to the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine with a request to conduct an unscheduled inspection of this educational institution for compliance with the law educational.

In the past, parents of students of Chernivtsi gymnasium No. 5 “Integral” the dismissal of the director of the educational institution for witnessing the oppression of children, but it was not prevented.

At the beginning of March, an audio recording of a policewoman’s conversation with students at gymnasium No. 5 “Integral” was made public in local pubs. It is clear from this that the subject of the meeting between the children and the law enforcement officer is the rules of conduct at school.

In the audio, you can also hear how the policewoman forces one child to squat and yells at another because of his loose hair.

Earlier it was reported about a scandal in the Lviv region due to the bullying of a teacher in a seventh grade.
