Dmitry Peskov blamed the attacks on the “Kiev regime,” which apparently did nothing but attack “civilian targets” in Russia.
Russian authorities say attacks on Russian targets are continuing, but “air defense is working.” Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing on Tuesday, March 12.
He traditionally blamed the attacks on the “Kiev regime,” which apparently did nothing but attack “civilian targets” in Russia.
“Our military is doing everything necessary. The air defense systems are working,” Peskov told reporters, commenting on the drone attacks in several regions of Russia that were carried out on Tuesday night.
He reiterated that the war against the Ukrainian people will continue.
The Kremlin spokesman was also asked whether, after the attack on the LUKOIL refinery, the possibility of giving private companies the right to organize air defense of their own facilities was considered.
“Ensuring security is the competence of the Ministry of Defense, and you only need to turn to them. This is not our topic,” replied Peskov.
We remind you that drone attacks were reported tonight in the Belgorod, Kursk, Voronezh and Moscow regions of the Russian Federation.
Also today, drones disabled one of the most powerful oil refineries in Russia, LUKOIL-Nizhnegorodnefteorgsintez in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region.
