The new brigade commander, Colonel Yan Yatsishen, promised to continue the work of his predecessor and, together with the soldiers of the 47th Mechanized Brigade, achieve victory over the enemy.
The first brigade commander of the 47th brigade after its creation was Alexander Sak (former battalion commander of the 93rd brigade), the second was Alexander Pavliy (former brigade commander of the 112th TRO brigade), the third was Dmitry Ryumshin.
The reason for the rotation of brigade commanders in the Armed Forces was not explained.
The 47th separate mechanized brigade “Magura” was created in the fall of 2022. In the summer of 2023, she took part in the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye direction. At the end of August 2023, this brigade liberated the village of Robotino, breaking through the first line of defense of the Russian occupation forces.
