Last Sunday, the 10th, the 96th edition of the Oscars, the main award for the world film industry, took place in Los Angeles, in the United States, with the film “Oppenheimer”, which portrays the life of the creator of the atomic bomb, being the big winner of the night, with 7 statuettes, including “Best Film”.

This is because, since the beginning of the promotion period for the film, Margot followed the “Barbiecore” trend where, at each event, she made a point of coming up with an iconic look inspired by historical versions of the most famous doll in the world.

At the Golden Globes, Margot attended in a pink dress made by Giorgio Armani inspired by the 1977 Barbie Superstar.
But what about the Oscars?
Surprising everyone, the look of Margot Robbie at the 2024 Oscars, which was an embroidered dress from the designer brand Versace, did not feature any reference to the doll — even the famous “Barbie Pink” was replaced by black.
