Lightning strikes the world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa. A video shot by eyewitnesses has surfaced on social networks. The skyscraper reaches a height of 828 meters and has 163 floors.
Forecasters have warned that rain, lightning and hail are expected in the UAE from March 8 to 10. Police have advised local residents to avoid beaches, valleys and areas that may be prone to flooding.
On March 9, due to bad weather, at least 13 flights to Dubai were diverted to other airports. Motorists are advised to choose routes carefully. Intercity bus services between Dubai and Sharjah have also been suspended. An orange alert level has been declared across the UAE.

Let us remind you that the Burj Khalifa is repeatedly illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. In particular, it was done on the Independence Day of Ukraine. And also in February 2021, when President Vladimir Zelensky visited there.
