The photo shows damage to one of the hangars, as well as signs of arson on the roof of the hangar, which indicates a fire. The attacked hangars were the site of final assembly of special aircraft based on the Tu-95 and Il-76.
The network also suggested that a previously damaged DRLV A-50 aircraft could have been parked in this hangar for repairs.
The first photo shows the hangar before the UAV hit, the second photo shows the hangar after (damage to the roof is noticeable).
Drones attacked the Beriev aircraft plant in Taganrog, Russia, on the night of March 9. The A-50 plane, which had been stationed there nine days before the attack, disappeared from the buildings. OSINT analysts at Frontelligence Insight suggest that the A-50 may have been undergoing internal repairs at the time of impact. Visible damage to the building suggests that the aircraft inside was damaged. Whether this is so is unknown for sure.
OSINT analysts called it an achievement that the drones bypassed air defenses, in particular the S-300 or S-400 battery, if it was not the target.
Russian authorities claimed a massive UAV attack on the night of March 9, but denied any damage.
If the drones did manage to damage the A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft at the plant, it would be the third aircraft taken out of service by Ukrainian forces since the start of the year.
