Compared to the period before the full-scale Russian invasion, the number of cyber attacks has tripled.
The publication “Public” reported this today, March 7, with reference to the SBU’s response to the request.
It is noted that:
- The SBU, within its competence, constantly improves the cyber defense system and makes appropriate recommendations to government authorities;
- cyber specialists of the SBU and other authorized bodies comprehensively monitor, identify and eliminate potential and existing threats in cyberspace.
Countering cyber attacks is carried out, in particular, using the MISP-UA system, a platform that provides real-time exchange of data on cyber risks, attacks and incidents.
Registered participants of MISP-UA provide information about signs of a possible defeat, which allows SBU cyber specialists to provide attack paths, potential threats and neutralization tools for further response. The SBU began implementing MISP-UA in 2018 based on the experience and practices of EU and NATO countries.
