The FSB announced the prevention of a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Moscow, which was being prepared by Afghan militants who are “branches” of ISIS. This was reported by the Russian media in connection with the special service.
It has been noted that in the territory of the Kaluga region, the activities of a cell of the international terrorist organization ISIS in Afghanistan – Vilayat Khorasan, whose members are planning to commit a terrorist act in one of the Jewish places of worship in Moscow, something was prevented.
According to the FSB, the militants were preparing to attack synagogue patrons with guns. Once imprisoned, the terrorists offered armed resistance and were therefore neutralized.
During the investigative actions in the place of residence of the radicals in the Kaluga region, guns, ammunition, as well as components for the manufacture of an improvised explosive device were discovered and confiscated.

Earlier, the Russian Federation reported that it had prevented a terrorist attack against a “representative of the authorities” in Crimea.
