The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented a video of the destruction of the Russian patrol ship Sergei Kotov. The video was published on the morning of Tuesday, March 5th.
The video shows that at least several Magura V5 maritime drones were involved in the operation. Heavy explosions damaged the Russian ship and it sank.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate said that Sergei Kotov received damage to the stern, right and left sides as a result of the drones’ strike. It cost about 65 million dollars.
The mission to sink the ship took place in collaboration with the State Intelligence Directorate, Navy and Ministry of Digital Transformation. The exact details about the fate of the crew have been clarified, but the intelligence representative Andrei Yusov assured that there were dead and wounded among the Russians.
