The security agreements were concluded in accordance with the framework declaration concluded between Ukraine and the G7 states.
Representatives of Ukraine and Spain began negotiations on the conclusion of a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of security. The press service of the President’s Office reported this on Monday, March 4.
Negotiations from the Ukrainian side in Spain were led by the Deputy Head of the OP Igor Zhovkva.
“The structure of the future agreement was discussed, and a schedule for further negotiations was agreed,” the statement said.
The security agreements were concluded in accordance with the framework declaration concluded between Ukraine and the Group of Seven states at the NATO summit in Vilnius in July 2023. More than three dozen states have joined this declaration.
We remind you that Ukraine has now signed security agreements with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, as well as Italy, Canada and the Netherlands.
