Ukraine needs results in the destruction of the military infrastructure of the Russian Federation, the head of state noted after a conversation with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
President Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting with the Ukrainian military and intelligence. The head of state announced this in an evening video message on Monday, March 4.
According to the Ukrainian leader, they talked with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov about the supply of weapons, as well as fair and proper support for the brigades. “A separate conversation concerns drones. Good content. In particular, about our long-range drones,” the president said.
In addition, Zelensky today had a long meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky and the Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Bargilevich. We discussed front line issues and tasks, as well as operations and prospects.
“Despite all the shortcomings, the ability of our soldiers to destroy the invaders should not decrease,” the president said.
Zelensky also heard a report from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov. “We need a clear result on the destruction of Russian military infrastructure and logistics. A bigger result. And it will be,” he added.
The head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk reported on the counteraction with the collaborators and Russian DRG in the border areas. “There are good results in neutralizing these individuals,” Zelensky said.
There is also a report from the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Alexander Litvinenko. It concerns sensitive international directions and Russian plans. “We have an understanding of what documents are on the enemy’s desk, what his next plan is. We will fight,” the president said.
We remind you that today Zelensky replaced the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The head of state also held a conference call, where the audit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the receipt of weapons were discussed.
