The director of Rostec said that these tanks will not be used during the war because of their high cost.

Russia has put the new T-14 Armata tank into service with its army, but it will not be sent to the front. This is what Rostec General Director Sergei Chemezov said, reports the propaganda news agency RIA Novosti.

According to him, this tank is supposedly superior to other Russian and Soviet tanks in its characteristics.

“But (during the war – ed.) these tanks are unlikely to be used because of their high cost. It is easier for the army to buy cheaper T-90 tanks,” said the Russian.

As we have already written, the UK Ministry of Defense said that it is absolutely unprofitable for Russia to use its T-14 Armata tank on the battlefield, and if it happens, it will be mainly for propaganda purposes.

Let’s recall that last year Russian propaganda media claimed that their occupiers “allegedly started using T-14 Armata tanks” in Ukraine.
