The first batch of shells found by the Czech Republic may arrive in Ukraine in just a few weeks.

Jan Jeres, Director General of Defense Policy, told Bloomberg.
He did not specify which European countries are participants in this initiative and did not say whose reserves are being used. However, he noted that information about supplies will most likely be disclosed upon their arrival.
Earlier, Czech President Pavel said that they were able to find sources abroad for hundreds of thousands of artillery ammunition – 500 thousand 155 mm shells and 300 thousand – 122 mm.
After this, at a summit in Paris, about two dozen European country leaders announced that they were ready to find money to purchase shells. Then, for the first time, Europe agreed to purchase ammunition outside the EU.
On March 1, in Kharkov, the head of the Dutch government, Mark Rutte, announced that his country would increase funding for the purchase of ammunition for Ukraine to 250 million euros. Previously, the Netherlands agreed to allocate 150 million euros.
