Ukrainian intelligence officers damaged a Russian air defense missile system and wounded two occupiers. On February 29, they hit a hostile target near the village of Golovchino, Grayvoronsky district, Belgorod region. The enemy system was disabled. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported this on Telegram.
The settlement of Golovchino is located about 10 km from the border with Ukraine.
As you know, the Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system “Pantsir-S1” is designed for short-range protection of military installations from air attack weapons.
The main armament of this air defense missile system is two twin 30-mm 2A38M cannons and 12 57E6-E two-stage solid-fuel anti-aircraft missiles. The cost of the complex is about 15 million dollars.
Let us remind you that this morning the Russian telegram channel ASTRA reported that four unknown drones attacked the Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system in the Belgorod region.
