An earthquake in the Poltava region was recorded on the night of March 1.

Tremors with a magnitude of 3.6 occurred at 2.22 in the Reshetilovsky district. The epicenter of the earthquake is located west of Poltava at a depth of 10 km. This was reported on the website of the Main Center for Special Control.
It is noted that according to the classification of earthquakes, it is classified as barely perceptible. The vibrations could only be felt by individuals who were in a calm state indoors, especially on the upper floors.
The Center recalled that similar earthquakes were recorded in the Poltava region in 2023. So, last year in the Poltava region there were tremors on July 23, June 8, May 26 and January 14 with magnitudes of 2.6, 3.7, 3.5 and 2.7, respectively.
Let us remind you that on October 9, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in the Transcarpathian region. The epicenter of the earthquake was near the Slovak town of Humenne near Uzhgorod. Residents of the Ukrainian regional center felt tremors in their homes.
