“Two journalists from the Ukrainian media outlet Ukrainskaya Pravda were detained for several hours yesterday by Polish police while working near the border with Belarus. Their equipment was searched and confiscated for several hours. Reporters Without Borders condemns the blockade in their work,” the statement said.
We remind you that on February 27, Polish law enforcement officials detained Ukrainian Pravda journalist Mikhail Tkach when he filmed material about the transit of goods between Poland, Russia and Belarus. Meanwhile, Polish police said they were conducting “identification” efforts on Tuesday.
