Washington sees how the Ukrainian side has taken some steps against corruption in recent years.
Washington believes that Ukraine can do more to fight corruption than it is doing now. US State Department Speaker Matthew Miller announced this on Monday, February 26.
“We have been talking to the government of Ukraine for a long time about the need for anti-corruption measures. We have seen them take some steps to fight corruption in the last few years. We believe that we and they can do more , ” he said.
Miller added that Washington continues to engage in an ongoing dialogue with Kiev on this topic.
He added that the United States sees how the Ukrainian side has taken some steps against corruption in recent years.
