Find out what part of the Poles believe in the success of Ukraine in the Russian Federation

In Poland, 28 percent of respondents believe in Ukraine’s victory in the war, 33.2% have the opposite opinion, and another 38.8 find it difficult to answer this question. This is confirmed by the results of a survey conducted by SW Research on the opinion of Poles about the war in Ukraine and published on Saturday, February 24, reports Polish Radio.

“Women believe more in the success of Ukraine (31.1% compared to 24.5% among men). Women are more likely to indicate the answer “no” (27% compared to 40.3% among men), while 41.9% of women and 35.3% of men found it difficult to answer whose success they believe in,” said the results of the study.

As noted by the authors of the study, people over 50 years of age believe more in the success of Ukraine (31.5%), and representatives of the 25-34 age group do not believe in victory of Ukraine.

“The answer “no” is most often noted by respondents aged 35-49 years, least often by the oldest group of respondents (26.4%),” the researchers indicate.

The study was conducted on February 20-21, 2024 by SW Research using online interviews with the SW Panel online panel. As part of the study, 800 interviews were conducted with a representative sample of Polish women and men aged 18 years and over in terms of general distribution by gender, age and city size.

In early February, 24% of Ukrainians believe that the situation at the front is now in favor of Ukraine, 15% – in favor of Russia.

Most Ukrainians consider the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Canada, France and Japan to be friendliest to Ukraine, but attitudes toward Poland and the United States have deteriorated somewhat since last summer.
