On the second anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky met with military personnel who participated in the defense of Antonov Airport and presented state awards. The presidential press service reported this on Saturday, February 24.
The presentation of awards took place on the territory of Antonov Airport near the city of Gostomel, Kyiv region.
The ceremony was also attended by: President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Alexander De Croo, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.
