Ukraine and Denmark agreed to hold a bilateral forum of defense industries and an investment forum. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his video message on Friday, February 23.
According to him, today in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Matt Frederiksen, the issues of joint defense production were discussed.
“We discussed specific things today. Our teams agreed to hold a bilateral forum of defense industries, as well as investment forum. I mean, relationships are really at their best. Today, by the way, we also talked about specific dates when F – 16s, where Denmark is very helpful,” said the president.
Earlier on Friday it became known that Ukraine and Denmark signed a security agreement for 10 years. This year alone, Copenhagen will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with weapons worth at least 1.8 billion euros.
Also yesterday, Denmark allocated the 15th package of military aid to Ukraine and announced the timing of the transfer of F-16 aircraft.
