The collection of votes continues on a petition proposing to change the name of the street where the Russian embassy is located.
Residents of the Dutch city of The Hague propose to change the name of the street where the Russian Embassy is located in the city of The Hague to “Alexei Navalny Road”. Ukrinform reported this on Thursday, February 22.
The corresponding petition has already collected 57,496 signatures.
The publication notes that the community of the Zorgvliet residential area in The Hague took an action in support of Ukraine – the pedestrian and bike zone near the buildings of the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands was called “Glory to Ukraine.” So, the Dutch want to show their solidarity and support for Ukraine, where the full-scale military aggression against the Russian Federation continues.
We remind you that on February 16, the Russian authorities announced that Navalny died suddenly in IK-3. A polar wolf in the village of Kharp, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug of the Russian Federation.
On February 22, Navalny’s mother was reportedly shown her son’s body, but they promised to exhume it only in a secret funeral.
