Poles believe that the influence of the war in Ukraine on life in Poland is not decreasing, but, on the contrary, is growing.
Most Poles fear that Russia wants to invade Poland. This was stated in a survey by the United Surveys center for the publications RMF.FM and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
RMF.FM says that the impact of the war on life in Poland is not diminishing, but on the contrary, it is becoming more obvious, so the Poles are growing afraid about what will happen to the eastern part of NATO if Putin will win in Ukraine.
The survey shows that 47.4% of respondents are confident in Putin’s plans to attack Poland, but 38.2% do not hold this opinion, and 14.3% have no opinion on this matter.
On another question, how the aggression of Russia against Ukraine will end, 17.4% noted that Ukraine will win, according to 14.1% – Russia, but the majority – 47.4% believe that the confrontation will continue for many years and end in the destruction of both countries.
The survey was conducted on February 10-11 using a mixed method among a sample of 1,000 adult Poles.
Let us remind you that the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Poland, Michal Kolodziejczak, said that his country may introduce new restrictions on the import of Ukrainian products if it is not possible to reach an agreement with their Ukrainian colleagues.
