Zaporizhia NPP remained on one power line due to shelling

As a result of the fighting, a 330 kV high-voltage power transmission line in the Zaporozhye region was de-energized yesterday.

At the same time, the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains stable and reaches 15.59 m. This is enough to meet the needs of the station.

In addition, due to shelling, there is damage to the air line in the Chernihiv region. There, about 200 consumers were simultaneously disconnected from the two settlements.

Also, for technical reasons, a substation in the Nikolaev region went offline, as a result of which household consumers and the administrative building of the Nikolaev network service center were cut off. Within half an hour, all consumers are powered up.

At the same time, no shortage was recorded in the energy system. Our own generation is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There are seven thermal power plant units in reserve, which will be used as needed.

For the current day, electricity import is estimated at 1,400 MWh. Export is also expected – up to 3000 MWh.

We remind you that at the beginning of December there was a complete blackout at Zaporizhia NPP. At one time, the station operated for its own needs from diesel generators.
