Units of the Third Assault Brigade showed footage of raids into areas captured by the occupier. They were recorded by cameras of soldiers of the 1st mechanized battalion.
The video shows a depressing atmosphere and a city and its industrial zones destroyed by enemy artillery and cabs.
The third assault showed how fighters blew up enemy personnel, planting explosives at point-blank range, caught up with the Russians with strike drones and at a critical moment shot down enemy drones, fought intense battles on the ruins of houses, provided assistance to the wounded and restrained the invasions of the invaders.
Avdeevka today has become the largest cemetery for Russians. The Pirs literally exchanged the ruins of the city for thousands of their own corpses,” deputy brigade commander Maxim Zhorin wrote on February 18.
The shock of realizing the volume of losses is already emerging even on their public pages, where, for example, they write about almost one and a half thousand people lost their lives in one day.
I am sure that the total losses during the entire defense of Avdiivka are more than 47 thousand. At the same time, we should not be particularly happy. All this time, Russia did not stop mobilizing or increasing its military production. They are ready to take the next city, even a small one, and more, the Ukrainian commander believes.
