An earthquake occurred in the Ternopil region

The earthquake does not threaten the population; according to the classification, it is classified as “quite noticeable,” experts say.

The earthquake was registered on Sunday, February 18, in the Ternopil region. The Main Center for Special Control reports this on its Facebook page.

The main special control center registered at 11:07:32 an earthquake of magnitude 2.6 (on the Richter scale) at a depth of 5 km in the Ternopil region.

Experts noted that this earthquake does not threaten the population, because according to the classification of earthquakes, it is classified as “relatively noticeable.”

Vibrations are only felt by certain people who are in a calm state indoors, especially on the upper floors.
