The State Customs Service of Ukraine noted that protesters blocked several trucks at the Dorogusk-Yagodin checkpoint.
Truck traffic at the Dorogusk-Yagodin international checkpoint was completely blocked in both directions on Sunday by Polish farmers. They staged a mass protest on the streets in front of Doroguska. The State Customs Service of Ukraine (SCSU) reported this on its Telegram channel on Sunday, February 18.
“Contrary to protesters’ promises to allow perishable, dangerous or humanitarian cargo, not a single truck has crossed the border since then,” the statement said.
Regular buses are allowed to pass as usual, without queuing.
“According to a video distributed online, from noon on February 18, Polish protesters tried to block the movement of trains on the railway tracks in Doroguska, which may be a false start to the action announced on February 20,” the State. The Customs Service was mentioned.
The participation of farmers from other European countries in the Polish protest announced the previous day has not been confirmed, the State Customs Service added.
As we already wrote, the Poles blocked the sixth checkpoint on the Ukrainian border – Krakovets-Korcheva.
In addition, the border blockade caused problems in the delivery of humanitarian cargo.
