On Saturday, February 17, an enemy fighter-bomber dropped several guided bombs on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. However, the plane was shot down by the Ukrainian military. The head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Artem Lysogor, reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the pilot of the occupiers after the defeat thought only about himself and directed the downed plane towards the villages of the Anthracite community, and not into fields or forests.
Residents of the village of Dyakovo witnessed a shot down Russian fighter jet killing civilians. The video that was filmed notes that the plane fell on the street where “Lyubov Nikolaevna lives.” The number of victims is still unknown.
Let us recall that on February 17, the Ukrainian military destroyed three Russian aircraft: one Su-35 fighter and two Su-34 fighter-bombers. And on February 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down another Russian Su-34 aircraft. All these enemy objects were eliminated in the eastern direction.
