Labor authorities in the Crimean city of Sevastopol are looking for “provocateurs” who allegedly spread information about upcoming school shootings. The so-called “governor” Mikhail Razvozhaev announced this on Saturday, February 17.

“Provocative information is spreading in chats and public pages in Sevastopol that unknown people are planning to shoot at schools. All operational services know about this information; those who created this channel and are trying that created panic in the city is already recognized, ” Razvozhaev said on his telegram channel.

The governor urged parents not to forward or share such messages.

“In this way, you are playing into the hands of those who organize this provocation. More than 500 people are already subscribed to this channel,” he complained.

Earlier, Russia said it had prevented a terrorist attack against a “representative of the authorities” in Crimea. The defendants in the Simferopol case were apparently preparing to blow up the “official’s” car.
