The UK, the United States and other countries are working to provide Ukraine with thousands of new drones. These drones are equipped with artificial intelligence and can simultaneously strike targeted targets. Bloomberg reported this, citing its sources.
As one of the program participants said, AI drones can be deployed into large fleets. In this case, the UAVs will communicate with each other to guide them to hostile positions. This eliminates the need for each individual drone to be controlled by an operator.
The developers of the new technology are confident that it can allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to suppress certain positions of the occupiers using drones. These unmanned systems could be sent to Kyiv in the coming months. However, it is possible that these deadlines may be violated.
Let us remind you that the Canadian government is studying the possibility of transferring CRV7 air-to-ground missiles to Ukraine, which were previously planned to be disposed of. More than 83 thousand missiles intended for attacking ground targets are stored in warehouses in Canada.
