The death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was confirmed by his team. The politician’s mother received an official message, Navalny’s press secretary Kira Yarmysh said on the social network X (Twitter).
“Alexey Navalny was killed. His death occurred on February 16 at 14:17 local time, as written in the official message given to Alexey’s mother,” he wrote.
According to him, the correctional colony said that Navalny’s body is now in Salehard. Investigators removed him from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to conduct “research.”
