Ukraine is now building communication with the administrations of all platforms, including Telegram, said Andrey Yusov.
Telegram includes several threats to Ukraine’s security, and we need to find solutions to this problem. This was said by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov at an event in the Media Center Ukraine on Wednesday, February 14th.
“This…is not about individual users or individual media represented on this platform, (turned out, – ed.) questions on the platform itself. This includes a number of threats to information, and not only information, security of our country,” said the official.
According to him, everyone wants to answer all questions, but there are no such simple answers. Therefore, Ukraine is now building communication with the administrations of all platforms, including Telegram, to work according to clear rules: both in accordance with Ukrainian law and in accordance with international standards.
“This is the most difficult thing to come out of Telegram. It is continuous work, multi-level: both in the territory of the platform itself by creating content that will destroy myths, explain and cover the target audience, and work from the point from the point of view of normalizing the activities of these platforms. All these steps are being taken, but there is still a lot of work,” Yusov concluded.
As already written, a week ago information appeared that the Russians at the front started using Starlink terminals. GUR later confirmed the data and made the evidence public.
