President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed Lieutenant General Yevgeny Moysyuk to a new position.

According to the decree of the head of state, Moysyuk will serve as the Special Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the implementation of international security guarantees and the development of the defense forces of Ukraine.
Until now, Moysyuk held the position of Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Evgeniy Moisyuk was the commander of the parachute battalion of the 25th separate airborne brigade in 2011-2014.
In 2014-2018 – commander of the 81st separate airmobile brigade.
From 2018 to 2019, Moysyuk was the first deputy commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
2019-2021 – Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On December 5, 2019, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general.
