This time the incident occurred in the city of Mattmann, in the West German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. A 15-year-old Ukrainian was attacked, DW reported.
According to preliminary data, the attack occurred on the evening of February 10, when the Ukrainian guy was in a Turkish restaurant. There was an argument between him and an unknown man. According to police, the man made xenophobic comments and then hit the 15-year-old boy in the head with an unidentified object before fleeing.
As a result of the attack, the guy received massive head injuries, but there is no threat to his life.
The identity of the attacker has not yet been established; the police have put him on the wanted list.
Let us remind you that on February 11 in Dusseldorf, 17-year-old Ukrainian basketball player Vladimir Ermakov was killed as a result of an attack. The attackers were detained.
