An unidentified short man made xenophobic remarks to a 15-year-old Ukrainian in a cafe and suddenly hit her on the head.
In the city of Mettmann near Düsseldorf, located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, an attack took place on a 15-year-old teenager from Ukraine. The man sustained severe head injuries. DPA wrote this on Tuesday, February 13.
According to German police, the Ukrainian was in a Turkish restaurant at the time of the attack.
“An unknown short man made xenophobic remarks to a 15-year-old Ukrainian and suddenly hit him on the head with an unknown object and ran away,” police said.
The Ukrainian minor received severe head injuries as a result of the attack, but there was no threat to his life.
The identity of the attacker has not been established, but police have put him on the wanted list.
“German police are currently looking for the attacker, a man about 1.92 meters tall,” the journalists reported.
