After the paperwork was completed, three trucks driven by Ukrainian citizens entered Poland. The protesters did not allow transport to pass and at some point opened the trailers, causing grain to partially spill onto the road. The drivers turned back towards Ukraine,” commented Eva Chizh from the Chelm city police department.
The material collected by the police will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for legal and criminal examination.
According to Chizh, there were no fights or other dangerous situations. Police are investigating the details of the incident and removing evidence at the scene. The materials will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for criminal and legal examination.
Let us remind you that on February 11, using an electric grinder, Polish protesters opened several Ukrainian trucks, causing grain to spill onto the road. Although the culprits were recorded on video, the police did not take any action.
Later, the protesters covered the highway with tires and earth so that our trucks could not pass. Meanwhile, the leader of the protest of Polish carriers, Rafal Meckler, who is associated with the Russian Federation, rejoices at how the protesters are pouring Ukrainian grain onto the road.
Let us remind you that on February 9, Polish farmers resumed their protests on the border with Ukraine.
