The military showed on video the defeat of enemy kamikaze drones of the “Shahed” type with the latest air defense systems. The footage shows the beating of an enemy drone using automatic targeting on the monitor of a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile system. The naval forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on February 11.
The Navy added that on the night of February 10-11 in the Nikolaev region, during an air attack by the occupiers, Navy personnel shot down three Russian Shahed-136 attack drones.
Let us recall that on the night of February 11, the Russian invaders sent 45 attack drones of the Shahed-136/131 type across Ukraine, launched from the areas of Balaklava and Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Defense forces shot down 40 drones within the Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Cherkassy, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions.
