Now there is no success, said Alexander Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, on February 10.
According to the latest data from the General Staff, over the past 24 hours, as in previous days, most of the Russian attacks were in the Avdeevsky direction – during the day, the Defense Forces repelled 33 attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky, Nevelsky.
The occupiers first of all want to establish control over the logistics routes to supply Ukrainian units on the northern flank. Defense forces provide an adequate response to enemy actions.
We are strengthening the blocking limit, setting up additional firing positions, and attracting fresh, effective forces. Logistics delivery continues to be carried out,” Tarnavsky noted.
According to Tarnavsky, throughout the entire operational zone of the Tavria OSV, in just the past 24 hours, the Russians carried out 17 airstrikes, carried out 57 assault operations and 599 artillery shelling.
The enemy’s total losses over the past 24 hours were: 361 Russian occupiers and 13 units of military equipment. In particular, these are two tanks, an armored combat vehicle, an artillery system, six vehicles and three units of special equipment.
The fact that Russian troops cut the railway line in the center of Avdeevka was reported by German columnist Andreas Röpke from the Bild publication.
Thus, they have only 700 meters left to Industrial Avenue – the last road connecting the city with the territory controlled by Ukraine.
Ukrainian war correspondent Bogdan Miroshnikov reported about the situation at the front near Avdeevka:
On the northern flank of Avdeevka, the enemy’s advance was somewhat stopped. Our guys are trying to counterattack. Not everything works out, but the enemy has slowed down. Globally, this is walking through a subtle crisis. After all, the enemy was stopped dangerously close to the main supply artery. In the future, additional enemy reserves are expected to be introduced in the direction of the main attack. It will be even more difficult.
