The corresponding personnel decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Saturday, February 10. The reasons for dismissal are related to moving to another job. Government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk reported this on Telegram.
Let us remind you that this week there are personnel changes in the high command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On Thursday, February 8, President Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Valery Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and appointed Alexander Syrsky in his place, before which he was commander of the Ground Forces.
And on February 9, Zelensky replaced the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – instead of Lieutenant General Sergei Shaptali, he appointed Major General Anatoly Bargilevich, who had previously commanded the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to this position.
