UZ will launch a new route to the Czech Republic in March

A contract has been concluded with the Czech carrier RegioGet, and the final technical issues are currently being agreed upon.

Earlier, the Czech carrier announced that it has completed preparations for the launch of the Chop – Kosice – Prague service. This will be the second train from Prague to Ukraine – on the new route Prague – Kosice – Chop. The railway administrations of the Czech Republic and Slovakia have issued all necessary permits.

It has also been reported Ukrzaliznytsia will not increase prices for domestic passenger transportation.
