The White House knows how the Ukrainian military is “carefully distributing its dwindling ammunition” and the Russians are trying to seize the moment to attack more Ukrainian positions and civilian cities.

This was stated by White House National Security Council Speaker John Kirby.
He confirmed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have enough ammunition, the military has to make difficult decisions.
We know that in some units, the Ukrainian military is very, very careful in distributing their ammunition because they are starting to worry that supplies are running low,” said the White House National Security Council coordinator.
He added that Ukrainian commanders in individual areas must also determine which longer-range systems to use now and which not due to the lack of new tranches of military assistance.
The Russians know this and therefore continue to attack with drones and missiles in order to force the Ukrainians to spend air defense systems, which they know are not being replenished now, the administration official noted.
During the briefing, Kirby said that the Russians want to have an operational base in the Avdeevka area. This is the starting point, the logistics center, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to fight for it.
Let us remind you that on February 7, the US Senate failed the first attempt to pass aid to Ukraine; the vote will continue.
