Ukraine, in the face of full-scale Russian aggression, needs to secure business operations as much as possible. And now all businesses are important – “every farmer, every person, even those providing 10, 20, 30 jobs.” Zelensky made a corresponding statement in Cherkassy during a regional meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. The President’s Office reported this.
The head of state emphasized that it is now very important to conduct a dialogue between business and the state on the issue of reserving workers from mobilization.
We all support our soldiers, but without working people there will be no wages. It is very necessary to preserve the economy. But at the same time, we must not forget: we cannot leave the guys on the front line without rotation. This is also very important. Today this is a priority. Therefore, we adhere to this formula: you fight or work for the state, Zelensky noted.
The President also added that it is necessary to find a format for supporting businesses that operate openly and pay taxes. Therefore, economists and law enforcement officers were given the task of developing a special approach to a business that operates completely “in the dark.”
Let us remind you that on January 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine re-introduced the bill on mobilization to the Verkhovna Rada. This draft law, in particular, contains norms for reducing the conscription age to 25 years, methods for serving summonses, restrictions for evaders and many other innovations.
