German music rights company BMG is ending its partnership with Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters over his controversial statements about Israel, Ukraine and the United States. It is reported by different types.
The company reportedly signed a publishing deal with the musician in 2016 and planned to release a new version of Pink Floyd’s 1973 album “Dark Side of the Moon” last year, but new CEO Thomas Koesfeld canceled the deal when sat on July 1, 2023. .. However, BMG is now preparing to completely terminate all artist agreements. This decision is related to the controversial and scandalous statements of Waters in international politics: the war in Ukraine, events in Israel and Palestine.
