Ukraine will develop a new fair mechanism for reserving employees of enterprises subject to military conscription. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Monday, February 5, the press service of OP reports.
It is noted that this will happen “soon.”
Zelensky emphasized that the dialogue between business and the state is very important today on the issue of reserving workers from mobilization.
“We all support our soldiers, but without workers there are no wages. It is very important to maintain the economy. But at the same time, we must not forget: we cannot leave the men on the front line without rotation. It’s also very important. Now it’s a priority. That’s why we follow this formula: you fight or work for the state,” said Zelensky.
The President believes that it is now necessary to find a format for supporting businesses that operate openly and pay taxes.
“I asked our economists and law enforcement officers to develop a special business strategy that operates completely “in white”. Honest Ukrainian business, so that such people do not have questions from to tax authorities and law enforcement during the war,” he stressed.
According to the President, such protection from the state should not only apply to managers and owners of companies, but also to their employees.
Let’s recall that at the end of January, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved and transferred to the Verkhovna Rada an updated version of the draft law on mobilization.
