Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky commented on the firing of Ukraine’s Minister of Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina in his February 5 video message.
“This morning Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal and I discussed strengthening the policy of heroes – the policy of veterans. Measures that will solve existing problems in this area and give confidence to our people. Measures on reset. And not only in this direction. With all due respect to the minister, This is purely a matter of governance. Ukraine needs strength, fresh energy and satisfactory leadership in every area. We must win the this war. And do the maximum this year, that is, more than possible . Ukraine will win,” the president said.
We would like to remind you that the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Yulia Laputina, has resigned. His application will be considered at the next plenary meeting of the parliament, spokesman Ruslan Stefanchuk assured.
Earlier, Zelensky did not rule out the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. The head of state said he was “thinking” about this replacement.
