In the Leningrad region, a mother of many children kept her husband’s mummy at home for four years and intimidated her children into an orphanage and mental hospital to keep quiet about their father’s death. Russian media reported it.
It is known that the husband died in 2020, but the wife did not bury him, instead she just wrapped him in a blanket and left him lying on the bed. He did not allow the children to enter the room. The eldest daughter knew that her father had died; his mother forbade him to tell anyone under threat of being sent to an orphanage.
Everything was revealed when the eldest daughter reported to the police. Law enforcement found the mummy of a man wrapped in a blanket in the apartment. The woman was taken in for interrogation.
According to relatives, the deceased man had been beating his wife and children for 16 years. The woman did not contact the police because the man threatened to kill her and the children.
Investigators suspect that the woman herself killed the man and embalmed him. Before that, he was registered with a local psychiatrist.

The children are currently in the district hospital. One of the brothers got sick because of the nervousness.
The house they live in is sealed.

Let’s recall that in Russian Kaliningrad, the mummified body of an old man was discovered in one of the apartments of a multi-storey building. An unexpected find was found on the balcony of the recipient of the apartment by inheritance – a distant relative.
