Before this, martial law and mobilization were extended for 90 days. Thus, their validity can be extended until mid-May.

President Vladimir Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada draft laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The corresponding bills No. 10456 and No. 10457 was registered on the parliament website on Monday, February 5.

There are no text documents yet. But, most likely, we will talk about the extension of martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days, as happened before. The bills are currently being reviewed by the Homeland Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee.

Currently, martial law and mobilization are in effect in Ukraine until at least February 14, 2024. If this regime is extended again for another 90 days, it will remain in effect until May 14.

As you know, on the morning of February 24, 2022, Ukraine introduced martial law for the first time in history after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion.

Since then, the Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law and mobilization nine times since the start of the war. They were last extended on November 8, 2023.
