“Today is World Cancer Day! Let this serve as a reminder to go to the doctor for a checkup. Don’t wait for your symptoms to get worse! The sooner the better. I feel so grateful to be alive! Cancer has there’s a lot to do. I’ve been taught. Sometimes I’m angry that I have ovarian cancer… And sometimes I’m grateful for all the lessons I’ve learned to become a better person,” she wrote.
