Law enforcement officers established that this millionaire blogger was involved in correcting the enemy’s massive rocket and artillery attacks on the Nikolayev region. The attacker formed his own networks of informants to correct Russian attacks. Among these spotters was the former head of the Nikolaev district prosecutor’s office, serving a life sentence for high treason. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
It turned out that from the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Podlolyaka carried out the tasks of the Russian special services to conduct information sabotage. To do this, he created his own YouTube channel with a total audience of more than 3 million subscribers. In his broadcasts, he justified the war against Ukraine, the occupation and the missile and bomb attacks of the aggressor.
Podolyaka is a native of Sumy, but in 2014 he went to Russia and began there to publicly disseminate fakes about the socio-political situation in Ukraine.
The court found Podolyak guilty under five articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: ch. 2 tbsp. 109 (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power), ch. 1 tbsp. 110 (distribution of materials calling for changes in the boundaries of the territory in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine), ch. 2 tbsp. 111 (high treason), art. 436 (war propaganda) and ch. 2 tbsp. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine).
The trial took place in the absence of the accused. Now the attacker is hiding in Russia and calls himself the main speaker in the war against Ukraine.
Let us recall that in December 2023, a Ukrainian court sentenced Denis Pushilin, a collaborator and leader of the self-proclaimed DPR, in absentia to 15 years in prison.
