Biden called the US “a unique country, the only one founded on an idea” and said the whole world is watching the US as a great power.
The United States must continue to assist Ukraine in its fight against Kremlin aggression. US President Joe Biden announced this on Thursday, February 1, during a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast at the Capitol in Washington, Voice of America reports.
In his address to the prayer breakfast participants, Biden emphasized that the United States not only prays for peace, but also acts to ensure that it prevails in the world.
He called the US “a unique country, the only one founded on an idea” and said that the whole world watches the US as a great power.
“The challenges of our time remind us of our responsibility as a nation to help each other, to promote a just and lasting peace, to support it abroad and here at home,” said the leader of America.
“We are working for the peace and security of the Ukrainian people, who have shown incredible courage and endurance against Putin’s aggression. We must continue to help them,” Biden emphasized in his speech.
He noted that the United States is making great efforts to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
“May we continue to believe that our best days lie ahead, and as a nation we continue to believe in honesty, integrity, honor and respect… Together we believe in America. I pray that we remember who we are. We – United States of America There is nothing, and I mean it sincerely, nothing is beyond our capabilities if we act together. . . ,” he added.
The National Breakfast is held annually in America’s capital. Politicians and religious leaders from all over the country and abroad are usually invited to this meeting.
As a reminder, White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby said that the Ukrainian air defense forces were forced to conserve missiles in the missile attack on Tuesday, January 23, because there is still uncertainty about the next deliveries of Americans.
